Proposal → approval checklist (no jargon)
Use this before you hit send — and again before you start work. It’s a productivity checklist, not a legal review.
Before you send the proposal
- Client name and contact are correct
- Scope is listed in plain bullets (what’s in / what’s out)
- Timeline and start date are written down
- Price, payment schedule, and currency are clear
- Revision limits (if any) are stated in one sentence
- File is named and saved in
02-proposal
After they say “yes” — before you start
- Signed PDF is downloaded into
03-signed - Deposit or first invoice status is noted in
04-admin - Kickoff date is on your calendar
- You sent a short “we’re starting” note with next steps
Not legal advice. This checklist helps you stay organized. It does not make an agreement enforceable. Get professional review when the stakes are high.
